Hi!

I’m Kashyra, the owner of Small Batch Cupcakes. I have always loved baking, even as a young girl. From my first cupcake to culinary school, my passion for baking has remained strong. I enjoy baking; learning new techniques and recipes. And I like to think that the fun I have in the kitchen adds something special to the final product. 

My experience as a pastry chef

I was a pastry chef for over twelve years and enjoyed my time in the kitchen (though not always the hours!). When I started working as an event planner, getting more involved in the wedding industry, I found myself in the kitchen less and less. I missed the opportunity to bake for others. So I started my own at-home baking business in the city known for its food and hospitality: Louisville, KY.

The concept for Small Batch Cupcakes is the quality that goes into every batch. Though I’m currently a one-woman show, that doesn’t take away from my abilities to provide a high level of baked goods.
